Turning to the dark side

well not exactly I just decided my next army would be Dark Angels , despite the way they sound they are a Space Marine force and have nothing to do with darkness in any way.

more specifically I went for a deathwing terminators list cus terminators are sheer walking awesome , although for cheapness I have gone without alot of options cus of all my figures I bought for this bar the HQ being Black Reach figures I bought on the cheap off ebay but then again I'd rather have the £95 I'd save not having the options than being the £95 down and having a slightly more effective army , also this will not be my main army , my main army will still be my orks , this is more a side project I'm working on that I can realistically complete instead of my 100's of orks.

my 1500 list so far is

I know this list will lose alot but meh , I'm used to losing being an ork player lol.

Painboy

very simular to the warboss as I showed yesterday expect I used the stipling brush with Blood red paint for the gore , the tank of goo was Orkhide Shade under a coat of Goblin green and the skin used the same as the warboss but more golin green than the warboss.

Warboss

Well I had to do this sooner or later ...and it's been later rather than sooner , must have had this over 6 months or so , prob coming upto 9. But then again last time I was painting it was boy after boy after boy and yeah the number of boyz used in a average ork army is head-crushing , I run relativly few boyz for an ork player and still I run 66 which is alot compare to the average of like 20/30 marines in a marine army of a simular size.

for the skin I used Orkhide shade with a badab black wash then Knarlok green and then I topped it off with a little goblin Green. The weapons armour were boltgun metal washed with badab black then highlighted with chainmail and the reds I used Mechrite and blood red.

Pictures of the outcome below , meh still another warboss , 30/40-odd boyz , 1 painboy , 20-ish nobz and still plenty of other stuff to go.
